Public road bridge over the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal,
circa 1826 (consultant T.Telford). Blue brick, in English Bond, and
stonework. Elliptical arch and projecting stone carriageway level
band. Cast-iron rubbing posts and red tow-path paving beneath bridge.
Humped carriageway with curved approach walls. Rounded stone coping
and four-way rounded caps to end piers.
