Farmhouse. c1621. Timber framed, refaced to the outer walls with C19
random bond brick. Plain tile roof (previously stone slate). Two
storeys. The entrance front has a slightly projecting gabled wing at
right with cambered headed 3-light ground floor window and a 3-light
casement window to the first floor with timber-framed gable, now
boarded over. To the left of this at ground floor level is a door at
right and two 3-light casement windows of C19 and C20 date. To the
first floor are one 3-light casement window at right and at left is a
timber inserted into the new walling which bears the inscription
"TMS 1621" with an ogee moulding below. To the roof are one ridge
stack at left of centre and one gable stack at far left with one
further stack at right. The rear has a projecting C19 gabled wing at
right of centre.
Interior: One ground floor room has exposed small framing to the
internal walls and two rooms have ceiling beams with double ovolo
mouldings.
