Formerly coachhouse now a hall: c.1850 for J U Gaskell with alterations and additions to rear of c.1950. Squared buff sandstone blocks with rock-faced dressings. Welsh slate roof. 2-storey, symmetrical 7-bay front (3:1:3). Central bay steps forward, under a triangular pediment, and has a tall semi-circular arched opening with ashlar frieze on modillions above. Circular light in pediment. 3-bay semi-circular headed arcades on either side contain semi-circular headed windows on ground storey and semi-circular window on a ashlar band in 1st floor. Low"'blocking course on projecting cornice. All openings now have C20 glazing.
