House. Late C18 with C19 additions. Red Flemish and English garden
wall bond brick with slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-bay symmetrical
entrance front of Flemish bond with vitrified headers. Doorway with
3/4 Roman Doric columns supporting entablature pieces with open
pediment above. Semi-circular fan-light and 4-panelled door. C19
angled bay windows to either side with stone cills and chamfered
lintels containing sash windows. First floor central window with
splayed head and central keystone of 3 x 4 panes with exposed sash
boxes. Triple windows to either side with splayed heads and central
keystones of 3 x 4 panes with 1 x 4 panes to either side. C19 wing to
rear partly slate-hung. East front has large stairlight with
intersecting lead tracery.
