Stable block. Mid C19. Chevron-dressed sandstone; hipped Welsh
slate roofs, stone ridge copings, 6 stone stacks. 2 storeys. On
3 sides of open courtyard. 4th side (S.) partly closed by high
screen-wall and gatepiers. Central, slightly projecting gabled
coach house. Rusticated quoins and 2 elliptical openings. Clock
in gable. Octagonal, timber bell cupola to ridge of coach-house,
with leaded ogee roof. 5 bays to centre block, 6 bays to W. wing.
Sash windows with glazing bars. Boarded doors. E.wing altered.
3 bulls-eye windows and external stone staircase to rear (N.)
elevation. Gatepiers with moulded bases, caps and ball finials.
Later extension adjoining W.side of W.wing is not of interest.
