House. Late C.18. Brick on stone plinth; clay pantile roof;
stone ridge and gable copings; 2 stacks at gables. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Central doorway with 6-panelled door, rectangular fanlight
with geometric glazing bars, and mid Victorian timber pilaster-
and-entablature surround. Sash windows with glazing bars. Early
C.19 sash, wider than original opening, to L.H.S. (ground floor)
with glazing bars. Mid C.19 canted bay window on brick plinth,
to R.H.S. (ground floor) with 21-pane sashes.
Listing includes former farm cottage adjoining W.side of
farmhouse, in same materials. Late C.18. 2 storeys, one bay
with canted ground floor bay window as above, paired sash with
timber mullion and glazing bars, to first floor. Yorkshire
sashes, mostly with glazing bars to rear elevation of farmhouse
and farm cottage. Round-headed staircase sash window with
intersecting glazing bars; at centre of rear elevation of farmhouse.
Listing also include outbuildings adjoining the rear (N)
elevation at opposite ends. Late C.18 and early C.19 brick with
pantile roofs.
