SX 45 SW MAKER-WITH-RAME GARRETT STREET (east side),
Cawsand

9/133 Pemberknowse Cottage

GV II

House. Circa 1800 with later C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Sandstone and
slatestone rubble, brick dressings, asbestos slate hipped roof; right side slate-
hung. Double depth plan with entrance to left.
2 storeys and 3 windows, first floor has 12-pane sashes with cambered heads, ground
floor has door to left of 2 vertical panels and 20-pane sash to right. Lean-to
attached to left, single storey to front and 2-storey to side with the slope of the
ground, garage doors to front. Left side has 12-pane sash at first floor right and
rooflight. Right side has 2 C20 windows at first floor.
Situated overlooking the foreshore at the rear; this elevation has significant
townscope value.
