Detached chimney to serve engine house on lower ground to north. Circa early C19.
Killas rubble with dressed granite band and collar. Round-on-plan. Tapered in 3
stages. Flush band over first stage and projecting collar with ovolo-moulding over
second stage. Upper stage, partly fallen, is reduced in width over collar. Put log
holes survives, for supporting scaffolding during construction.
Rare early detached chimney with distinctive granite collar and unusual band.
