3/168 Worval House


House. Circa early-mid C19, extended C20. Painted rubble brought to course with
granite dressings. Hipped scantle slate roofs to original part with painted brick
chimneys over side walls.
L-shaped 3 room plan, single depth parlour on right, double depth on left with
kitchen behind dining/living room partly within integral rear wing at right angles.
Central passage leading to central stair. Extended by 2 bays set back at left in the
Two storeys. Symmetrical 3 window south front with central doorway. C20 door,
possibly original hornless sashes with marginal panes. External shutters to 1st
floor windows. Rear has original round-headed stair window with Y-traceried glazing
to upper sash. Ground and 1st floor windows of east wall of wing are original 16-
pane sashes.
