Shop and adjoining cottage in row. Circa early C19. Shale rubble walls with dressed granite quoins, jambstones and lintels. Hipped scantle slate roofs at right angles to front.
Plan: shop left, now incorporating former service room at rear and 1-room wide
cottage right with service room behind plus C20 single-storey extension on lower
ground at rear.
Single storey double fronted shop window, left, and low 2-storey 1-window cottage,right. Shop has central doorway with overlight deeply set between pair of quadrant on plan bowed 16-pane windows all under deep eaves soffit. Cottage has doorway with C20 ledged doors, left of middle, window, right of middle and window over middle. Bowed 12-pane casements.
Interior not inspected.
One of a group of buildings in this unspoiled village and near the church.
