SW 72 NE CONSTANTINE
9/57 Garden wall immediately north west
- of Trenarth Barton
II
Garden wall. Probably late C18 incorporating some reused C17 material. Slate and
granite rubble with granite dressings. A high wall on 3 sides of the garden
immediately north west of the house, Trenarth Barton qv, and abutting the north west
wing of the house. Rounded rubble coping with a dripcourse, ramped up to higher
levels because it is on sloping ground. A circa C17 chamfered granite doorframe is
reused on the north side. There were formerly lean-to green houses on the inside.
Henderson estimated that the wall is coeval with the earlier part of the house.
