2 cottages, possibly originally one house. C17 with C19 and C20 additions.
Rendered stone and cob with thatched roof. South facing range, one room deep with
stack at east gable end (gable end extended to rear C20 and axial stack. C20
additions to rear and west end. Possibly hall at higher end with cross passage and
lower end kitchen. 2 storey, 5 window range. 2 C19 enclosed rendered porches with
sloping slate roofs. Inner doorways with roll mouldings, 4 irregularly-spaced
ground floor casements, renewed, with glazing bars. 4 outer upper-storey windows
project above the eaves line, the second from the east under a raking roof.
Interiors much altered. Fireplace at east gable end with massive fireplace beam
and cloam oven, closely-spaced thin curved ceiling beams. Collar rafter roof with
face pegged principals visible in upstairs rooms.
