6/87 Well House about 4 metres east
of the Old College

Well house. Circa 1508, built for Dame Thomasine Percival's grammar school.
Coursed polyphant ashlar with moulded plinth. Tall polygonal well house with
moulded cornice and rectangular door opening. Modern boarded door. The roof is
not visible and the parapet is likely to be a later simplification of a more
elaborate roof form.
