6/5 Dryworks Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Circa mid C18 extended in C19. Granite rubble, slate hung on front, with
large granite quoins. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks.
Plan: Probably originally of two room and cross or through passage plan, the two
rooms heated by end stacks. Extended with wing to rear right in circa early C19 and
with outshut to rear left.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical slate-hung two window front. Entrance to
right of centre through circa early C19 open-fronted stone rubble porch with slate
roof. Flanked to left by C19 3-light casement and to right by C19 2-light casement
with two C19 2-light casements on first floor. Later circa C19 wing on right
extending to rear.
Interior : Not inspected.
