Barn comprising shippon with threshing floor above. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with
granite and ashlar slate stone dressings. Rag slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: Overall rectangular plan with probably originally shippon on ground floor and
threshing floor with opposing doors on first floor.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical but regular front elevation with partly blocked
opening to left of centre with granite shouldered arch. Partly blocked opening to
left and small C20 lean-to extension to right. First floor with large double doors
with slate hood to left of centre and smaller window openings to right and left.
Interior: Not inspected.
Forms part of group with Bennacott Farmhouse (qv).
