House. Circa early C19 extended in later C19. Roughly coursed stone ashlar. Rag
slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks.
Plan: 2-room and cross passage plan heated by end stacks. Extended in circa late
C19 with a 1-room plan extension, heated by an end stack. C20 porch added on front
right.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Regular 3:1 window front with later C19 extension on right.
Dressed stone segmental arches and early C19 16-pane sashes. 2 sashes on ground
floor flank a C20 door with 2 sashes above. Blind window above entrance. To right a
C20 porch with a later C19 16-pane sash above.
Interior: Not inspected.
One of 3 similar cottages (qv West Park and Farmhouse and adjoining cottage 90 metres
to north west of West Park) on west side of an unspoilt and picturesque valley.
