Cottage

GV II
Barn, converted from possibly former service range of house. C17, remodelled in the
C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Corrugated asbestos roof with gable
ends.
Rectangular plan with probably shippons to ground floor and fodder storage above.
Steps up to doorway at west end. 2 bay piggery adjoining set back at far left. Left
with loading hatch over and doorway towards right with window over. Left of middle is
C17 chamfered 2-light granite mullioned window with stoolings for central mullion.
Later window openings on either side of right-hand doorway. Piggery set-back at far
left has 2 doorways.
Interior: Not inspected.
Present plan of C19 farm buildings are possibly on the sites of earlier buildings at
Trelissick ; this seems to be the only C17 farm building to survive.
