alterations. Granite and slatestone rubble with brick dressings. Slate roof with
ridge tiles and gable ends; in 2 spans, over the front and rear ranges, all gable
ends with stacks with brick shafts. The outhouse attached at the left end has a
stack with brick shaft rising from the slope of the roof.

porch. Circa mid C19, an addition was made to rear, parallel with the main range,
and also of 2-room plan. Single storey lean-to at the left end of the original
range, probably also of circa mid C19, probably a wash house, heated from a stack
rising from the slope of the roof.
Exterior: 2 storeys, a nearly symmetrical 3-window front. First floor has three C19
4-pane sashes in original openings with cambered brick arches. Ground floor has
central gabled open-front porch, with re-used chamfered 4-centred arched stone
surround to the doorway, with a plank dog-gate across. The porch has sidelights.
The interior of the porch has a stone trough for water. Plank inner door with 2-
centred arch with glazed spandrels. C19 16-pane sash with cambered brick arch to
right and left. The right end is blind. The left end has single storey lean-to with
