House with front area walls. Early - mid C19 with few later alterations. Stone
rubble, the front rendered and lined out. Asbestos slate roof with crested ridge
tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks with brick shafts.
Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance and principal room to front left and
right. Rear service rooms. The front area walls run along the front of the front
garden, parrallel to the house.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window front; all windows are early C19 16-pane
sashes in exposed boxes. Central panelled and glazed door, slightly recessed with
reeded pilasters and gabled hood.
The front wall is about one metre high, in granite rubble with chamfered granite
coping, central pair of plain piers with C20 wooden gate. The walls are splayed in
towards the gateway.
