Market cross and cover. Early C19 rebuild of an earlier structure. Red
sandstone piers under hipped graduated greenslate roof. 4 rusticated
cylindrical piers with square capitals supporting pyramidal roof with cannonball
finial. Interior of base is cobbled and had 2 red sandstone stumps, probably
for stocks and a bull ring.
