Farmhouse and barn. Early Cl9. Painted stucco walls with angle pilasters on
chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with ashlar chimney stacks. Barn
and house extension of whitewashed sandstone rubble under sandstone slate roof
with ashlar chimney stack. 2-storey, 2-bay house with lower single-bay
extension and barn to left under common roof. Sash windows in painted stone
surrounds. Extension has panelled door under glazed fanlight in painted stone
surround. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. Pilaster
strip separates this from barn. Barn has lean-to extension to front with cart
entrance to right. Listed partly for G.V. with Kirkland Hall opposite.
