Farmhouse. Mid C18 with barn dated 1786 and inscribed John Gunson over entrance. Painted render over brick with chamfered plinth and V-jointed quoins. Plain stone cornice incorporates lintels of blocked upper floor windows. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers, brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays, formerly 6 bays; barn, of lower roofline, 2 storeys, 3 bays to right. Top glazed panelled door to right in painted architrave. Narrow sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone architraves; 3 blocked windows on upper floor covered by render. Barn has plank doors on ground floor. Blocked loft and blocked slit vents. C20 brick buttress and repairs to wall.
