in grounds of Cockermouth Castle

Early C18 garden house, octagonal on a square platform, brick with stone quoins
and dressings. Conical slate roof, and stone moulded cornice. Door on south side
with curved open pediment and urn, up flight of steps. A window on each other
side in stone architraves.

The inhabited parts of Cockermouth Castle form a group with the unihabited parts.
