Farmhouse and barn. Late Cl7 with C19 alterations. Hammer-dressed red sandstone,
moulded cornice; red sandstone slates with coped gables and kneelers, stone
end chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plank door has moulded architrave,
plain frieze and - moulded cornice. Small window above is a Yorkshire sash with
chamfered surround and remains of stone mullion; similar flanking windows have
been filled; other windows are sashes with glazing bars in enlarged openings.
Adjoining barn to left at right angles, appears contemporary or earlier than
farmhouse. Entrance has chamfered surround and lintel, with re-used stone set
to right with incised initial R. Ground and upper floor windows to right, have
had stone mullions, now casements with glazing bars. Window to left is C19
casement in plain surround. Entrance to left has quoined surround which is
recessed to take plank door. Listing excludes other outbuildings.
