8/173 The Old Cottage

GV II

Cottage in row. Late C17, altered C19. Dressed limestone,
thatched roof with brick stacks to left. Single storey and attic,
one window. Planked door with board hood on carved brackets to
left, 2-light casement to right. Raking dormer has 3-light
casement. Rear has attic dormer and C20 lean-to extension.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (December 1985).
