2/115 The Old Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17, altered C19 and C20.
Chequered flint and limestone, tiled roof with brick stack to left.
L-plan. Two-storey, 2-window. Central 6-panelled door with flat
wooden hood on brackets and 3-light C19 casement either side and
chamfered stone fire window to left. First floor has two 2-light
C19 casements. Attached to right is former outhouse, now part of
house, with C20 dormer. Left return has lean-to extension, 2-light
casement to attic. Rear with C18 outshut, 6-panelled door and C20
casements to right, 2-storey wing to left with C20 casements, light
timber-framing and hipped tiled roof.
Interior has chamfered beams with ogee stops, open fireplace in
room to left of entrance has chamfered lintel on chamfered stone
jambs, 4-panelled doors.
