Detached cottage. Mid C17. Dressed limestone with rubble stone,
thatched roof, gable end stone and brick stacks. Gable end to
road. Single storey and attic, 2-window. Central planked door
with thatched canopy, either side is 3-light recessed hollow-
chamfered mullioned window with hoodmould. First floor has two 2-
light casements to eyebrow dormer. Coped verges to roof. Left
return has C20 fixed window in blocked doorway with hoodmould, 2-
light casement to attic and single recessed hollow-chamfered light
to attic. Right return has attached C19 extension with blocked
doorway with 2-light casement, hipped tiled roof. Rear has C20
lean-to extension.
Interior has deep chamfered beams, planked doors with strap hinges,
2 open fireplaces with chamfered lintels on chamfered stone jambs,
flagstone floors.
