Wide frontage house in row. Late C18 or early C19. Smooth rendered, slate
roof. Two and a half storeys; at ground floor a 4-pane sash plus two 4-pane
beyond doorway and at a higehr cill level, at first floor three unevenly spaced
12-pane sashes, and at eaves, right, above this window a small 2-light
casement. Off-centre, left, not aligned with window above, a C19 4-panel door
with overlight, in plain reveals, stone cornice on consoles. At the eaves a
series of 4 sections of coved cornice suggesting the existence of two further
windows originally possibly to half-dormers as on adjoining No 16 (qv). Brick
gable stack, left.
