A row of cottages. C17/C18 or earlier with later alterations and additions.
Timber framed, painted brick or rough rendered facing. Red plain tiled roofs,
excepting grey slate to Baytrees. Baytree Cottage and Baytrees, left and right
respectively are lower range. Catslide dormer with 2 light, small paned
casement to Baytree Cottage, 2 segmental headed windows and C20 door to right.
Baytrees with weatherboarding under the vertically sliding sash window,
vertically boarded door to right. Centre left Baytree House and right Bay
Cottage with 2 red brick chimney stacks, dentilled eaves cornice, gambrel roof,
2 segmental headed dormers and 4 hipped dormers. 6 window range of various
vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, two 3 light bays with fascias over
to right. 4 panelled door with pediment to Bay Cottage and a C20 part glazed
door with round headed doorway to Baytree House. Included for group value.
