House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. C17 gabled red brick house with timber framed parget plastered left wing and C19 right range. Red plain tiled roofs. Original crosswing to left and gable to right. Two red brick chimney stacks with attached diagonal shafts and moulded capping, that to left restored original. Moulded plinth and central band to original house and moulded brick mullions and surrounds to 3 light windows. 2 storeys 1:0:1 window range. The right gable with C20 3 light window to first floor and 5 small C20 windows to ground floor. Central C19 large gabled red tiled porch. Left one storey and attic range. Flat head dormer to right. Two window range of 2 light casements. Forward lean-to porch to right with vertically boarded door. Splat balusters to staircase. At times known as Oak Warren and Royal Oak Public House. Originally the Warren or Lodge to Old Woodham Walter Hall.
