Cottage. 1736, late C19, C20. Timber frame, encased in red brick and stock brick. Steeply pitched hipped roof with single ridge stack. Original lobby entrance no longer extant. Single storey and garret. Three bay front with lower part of wall of C18 red brick and upper part of C19 red and stock brick. Three C20 casements of various sizes. C20 extension to left with glazed doorway and casement beyond. C20 extension to rear. Timber framed interior mostly intact with two rooms divided by lobby with original very steep staircase with trap door. Room to right with sill and posts intact with inglenook fireplace with large chamfered beam inscribed '1736'. Room to left with large chamfered beam. Garret rooms with C18 roof partially exposed including tie beams and wall plates.
