Public House. 1824. Red brick and coursed limestone rubble. Plain tile roof
with coped gables and 2-brick gable stacks. First floor band and eaves cornice
2-storey. 3-bay. Central doorway with C20 door and fanlight, ashlar
surround of pilaster strips and semicircular arch with keystone. Flanked on
either side by single glazing bar sashes. Above 3 similar sashes, the central
window has a small hood below supported on brackets with a royal coat of arms
and above 3 feathers and a coronet. All windows have stucco wedge lintels
with keystones. South gable has a datestone inscribed R. W. 1824. Coursed
rubble possibly earlier range to rear.
