- 12 metres south of chancel of
Church of St Mary
GV II
Headstone. Probably C17 in memory of Nicholas Hitchcock. Local grey limestone.
Upright square-headed slab standing approximately 600mm high, the front is inscribed
with plain bold capitals. It records the death of Nicholas Hitchcock but the date
of his death is buried.
