House in row, with restaurant. c1870. Painted brick front,
rendered elsewhere, slate roof. Completely rebuilt in
Victorian times, the property has a wide-span mansard roof to
parapet front.
3 storeys and attic, 3 windows, all plain sashes; flat-roofed
dormers, the central one with paired sashes, above 1:2:1
narrow arched lights at second floor and segmental-headed to
first floor, the central sash wider than the flanking lights.
Within C19 pilasters with bold consoles at ground floor is a
full-width C20 display frontage with recessed centre. The rear
has 4 close-set flat-roofed dormers above various sashes or
casements. There are 4 large gable stacks.
INTERIOR not inspected.
A late but integral part of a group of listed buildings along
Trinity Road.
