House of late C18 appearance, reported to be of 1659. Incised rendered walls;
pantiled roof with brick stack. 2 storeys 1 bay. At right a passage entrance
to door behind. At left a C19 4-pane sash and a Yorkshire sash above. Left end
chimney. The through passage has a big chamfered beat at right, where Glenhowen
joins Merrymen (q.v.). Beyond the passage 1 narrow bay, jettied on first floor,
has small 4-light casement. Beneath the jetty, but set in the wall of Millbrook
(q.v.) and next to its door, is the door of 4 panels, in plain wood frame,
exactly matching that of Millbrook.
