House, possibly c18, with alterations. Very worn coursed sandstone with various
toolings, perhaps re-used; incised rendered west end; brick porch. Pantiled
roof with stone copings and kneelers, old brick stack; plain tiles on oriels.
Entrance on 2-storey 1-bay west gable end: 6-panel top-glazed double door in
gabled porch with set-back right section reducing in height with slope of path.
Modern fixed light on left and casement above. South front 3 storeys and
attic. 3 bays, the ground storey at a lower level. Off-centre half-glazed
double door; small casement to right, large transomed casement to left. First
floor central half-glazed double door opening to full-width wood balcony and
flanked by square oriels with pent roofs. Top floor centre and right transomed
windows with fancy top glazing; wider new window at left. 2 flat-headed C20
dormers. Right end brick chimney, left end rendered chimney; copings with
concave kneelers.
