GV II

House, C17 or early C18 with early C19 refurbishment. Coursed squared stone.
Pantiled roof with stone end copings and kneelers; off-centre and right end
chimneys. Two storeys, two windows, low proportions. First floor tripartite
sashes with small opening lights, ground floor Yorkshire sashes, all with
glazing bars. Modern boarded shutters. Plain boarded door under small brac-
keted hood. Lean-to extension at right, later in C19. Rear elevation has only
a glazed door, one similar window and a tiny fixed light. Interior: in right
hand room heavy chamfered beam and joists. In left hand room a moulded fire-
place beam and beck.
