GV II*

House, late C18 or early C19. Stone with stuccoed front. Pantiled roof, stone-
coped, with brick and stuccoed end chimneys. Front pitch now renewed in concrete
tiles. Two storeys, five windows, sashes with glazing bars. Five steps to cen-
tral panelled door in pedimented Doric wood doorcase with reeded and fluted
pilasters. Small-boarded door inserted at left, and stone area wall with moulded
coping. Interior shows much original woodwork and on ground floor right a com-
plete panelled room with reeded frieze and dentilled cornice to top entablature.
Good staircase with cut string, two turned balusters to a tread with urns on
bases and square knops. Rear elevation shows round-headed staircase window with
interlaced glazing bars.
