House. Mid C18 with earlier origins. Limestone rubble brought to course
and pantile roof. Direct entry to left return. Outshut to rear continuous
with Oldfields (qv). Return elevation: 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows.
Board door. Replacement 2-light Yorkshire sashes throughout. Skylight.
Right end stack. This house formerly formed the cross wing of a hall and
cross wing house, of which part of Oldfields formed the hall. North
Yorkshire and Cleveland Vernacular Buildings Study Group Report Number 122.
