Schoolroom and school house. Mid C19. Hammer-dressed limestone with ashlar
dressings, Welsh slate roof. Schoolroom to left, central-entry house to
right. Schoolroom: 3-bay tall single storey with lower entrance bay to
right, paired sashes in plain surrounds with stepped keystones. Board door
with divided overlight in plain surround with stepped keystone. Gable
coping, shaped kneelers, ball finials. Bell to right gable end. House: 2
storeys, 3 bays with central projecting gabled bay. 6-panel door beneath
divided overlight. Paired sashes throughout. All openings have quoined
ashlar jambs, and all except outer first-floor windows are under hoodmoulds
Decorative barge boards and finials to gables. Ridge and rear stacks.
