SLINGSBY MALTON ROAD SE 6974 (south side) 10/163 Slingsby Heights and gates and railings to front GV II House. Late C18 and mid C19. Hammer-dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof. C18 range to left, C19 range with rear cross wing to right. C18 range: formerly central entry, now entered from right range. 2 storeys, 2 first- floor windows. 16-pane sashes beneath wedge lintels throughout. Gable coping, shaped kneelers, end stacks. C19 range: 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows, lower roof line. Bow window to left, tripartite sash to right. First floor: 4-pane sashes. End stacks. Gable-end entry. Cast-iron gates and railings to front of property.
