House. Late C18 - early C19. Rendered, stone slate roof. South front:
central 2-storey range having 3 first-floor windows with recessed bay to
left and projecting taller 2-bay block to right. Entrance to right of
central block has 6-panel door with fanlight in keyed arch flanked by Ionic
columns supporting open dentilled pediment, all probably in wood. 16-pane
sashes in flush wood architraves with keyed lintels throughout. Gutter
brackets. Ridge stack to right end of central block, central eaves stack to
right range, which has hipped roof. Rear: courtyard flanked by ranges to
left and right with sashes. Left return, flanking road: long range with
sashes as front. Right return not seen at resurvey, but probably an
important garden front to the hipped-roof range. Interior not seen at
resurvey, but contains 2 fluted Ionic columns in halfway, supporting
staircase. (Estate Agent's sales catalogue 1985).
