5/40 Tomb approximately 10
metres west of Church of
St Michael

GV II

Tomb. Late C18 and C19. Ashlar and wrought iron. Ashlar rear wall with
central plaque in surround of pilasters, sill and cornice. Above a
pediment with small cartouche and worn inscription. To front is a
rectangular railed enclosure, approximately 3 metres by 5 metres. To bottom
ashlar wall approximately 1/3 metre in height. To wall ends are pilasters.
At front corners are Doric columns with urns on cornices. Central double-
gateway to front. Railings, C19, plain bars with spearhead finials.
