3/11 The Hollies

- II

House. Mid C18 with later alterations. Rendered brick with pantile roof.
2 courses of stone slates to eaves. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central lobby-entry
plan. 6-panel door and overlight with glazing bars in surround of reeded
architrave with corner paterae and cornice. All windows are sashes with
glazing bars and have stone sills. Large stepped and dentilled eaves band.
Brick coping, end stack to right and one to ridge. Left return has sashes
to ground and first floors, and 12-pane side-sliding sash to attic. Later
cottage to rear incorporated as rear wing.
