Estate lodge. 1828 (dated drawings), C20 additions. By P. F. Robinson for
P. D. Cooke of Owston Hall. Stuccoed, C20 cement tile roof. Single-storey,
tetrastyle, prostyle temple in Greek Doric style; C20 wing across rear (not
of special interest). 3-step stylobate; fluted columns with wider central
intercolumation; plain responds flank central 6-panel door in battered and
eared architrave. Full entablature with guttae, triglyphs and mutules;
pediment with raking cornice removed. Left return: 3 windows with shaped
brackets to moulded sills, architraves as door and sashes with glazing bars
(central window has matching casement). Right return: 2 bays in same style.
