8/162 House, Malswick Mill

II

House; early C19; Flemish-bond brickwork, stone plinth, tiled
roof. Three-window wide, 1 room deep, with continuous lean-to
rear, 2 storeys. 6-panel front door up 2 stone steps, 3 glazed
panels, top right fielded, bottom flush: semi-circular fanlight.
Gabled, open timber porch, scalloped bargeboards, corrugated-iron
roof. A sash window each side, boxes flush wall face, flat,
rubbed brick arch. First floor 2 similar windows. Clipped
eaves. Gable brick chimneys on ridge, within envelope of
building. Single-storey lean-to extension on left gable.
