Probably late C17 origin, enlarged to the north in the late C19. Purbeck Stone walls
and roof. In 3 sections. Southern section one-storey, centre section 2-storey,
northern section 3-storey. Projecting porch, with first floor room over, to the
east. Lean-to conservatory on the west, with asbestos slate roof and rendered wall
base. Casement windows in southern and central sections, double-hung sashes in later
northern section. High stone boundary walls to garden, and continuing down Chapel
Lane. RCHM Monument 14.
