cottage at end of row. 'C18 and C19. Good coursed limestone, stone slate roof.
Short front to St Mary's Street is 2 storeys and attic, one window. At ground
and first floors a 3-light casement with stopped hood, and a 3-light casement
flush dormer with ball finial. Windows have flush chamfer mullions and small
pane casements. To Hale Lane is 2 storeys and attic: ground floor has 3-light
casement and good fielded panel door, part glazed, in flat-roofed porch, first
floor two 3-light to continuous stopped hood, under a 3-light leaded dormer; to
the far left at ground floor a small single light. Small-pane casements
throughout. Roof hipped at other corner; ashlar gable stack with capping at
back. Back has one storey extension with large plank door. Interior not
inspected.
