Two cottages now made into one. Early-mid C17. Square-panelled
timber-framing with rendered and painted brick infill; gable ends
coursed squared and dressed limestone, red tile roof; brick stacks
probably replacing limestone rubble or ashlar stacks. Rectangular
plan. 1½ storeys. C20 single-light casements and three 2-light
casements with leaded panes to the ground floor. Two plank doors
with thumb latches and door knockers; 2-light eaves dormer with
C20 metal casement. Projecting gable-end and axial stack.
Interior: open fireplace with bressumer beam; spine beam with
moulded stops; timber-framed partition wall. (Witcombe Estate)
