Detached house. Mid-late C17. Of 2 builds, may have been 2 cottages.
Colourwashed brick walls, hipped thatched roof; brick end stacks and one left of
centre. One storey and attic. Left section has central buttress. Ledged door.
Ground floor has 2 casement windows with horizontal glazing bars,and shutters.
Attic has two ½-dormers with casements with glazing bars. Right section, set
back slightly, has glazed door in C20 conservatory. Ground floor has 2 casement
windows with glazing bars, - one with shutters. Attic has two ½-dormers with
casements with horizontal glazing bars. Plat band at first floor level. Ground
floor room at right end has large open fireplace with timber lintel and bread
oven. Chamfered ceiling beam. Timber-framed partition between this and centre
room. Some early roof trusses.
